1、壓路機(jī)壓路時要從公路的邊沿壓起，壓實路面逐漸向公路中間移動。前側(cè)的軋輥應(yīng)具有一定的重疊寬度，雙輥式壓路機(jī)與單輪式壓路機(jī)的交迭寬度為250~300mm，而三輪式壓路機(jī)的交疊寬度應(yīng)為主壓輪的二分之一左右。

2、壓路機(jī)碾壓技術(shù)：在工作過程中，壓路機(jī)應(yīng)該在起動前啟動，而內(nèi)燃發(fā)動機(jī)應(yīng)先達(dá)到中等速度，再轉(zhuǎn)到高速。當(dāng)坡面非常陡峭的時候，須先用小型壓路機(jī)進(jìn)行預(yù)壓，然后用重型壓路機(jī)或壓路機(jī)進(jìn)行壓實。
2. 3、在直線上進(jìn)行壓實，壓實應(yīng)遵循“由輕到重、由慢到快、由邊到中（曲線段按先內(nèi)、后外）”的原則。使用1次靜壓+3-4次震動+1次靜壓的方法，運行速度以3-6/小時為宜。
3. 4、將壓路機(jī)盡可能的接近攤鋪機(jī)，采用先輕后重的加壓方式進(jìn)行壓路，以保證混凝土在冷卻到小溫度之前能滿足密實度的要求。在碾碎新的瀝青路面時，為了降低路面的起皺和開裂，駕駛員應(yīng)先把主動輪開到新鮮的混合料場中。保證沖擊碾壓的速度是恒定的，在熱料層上不能隨意停頓、轉(zhuǎn)彎，而且起步要慢，以減少壓痕。
4. The road roller shall be close to the paver as much as possible, and the road shall be compacted in a light to heavy way to ensure that the concrete can meet the requirements of compactness before it is cooled to a low temperature.
